Port Royal Speedway and Short Track Super Series Cancel October 2024 Event; Set Sights on March 2025

Port Royal, PA - September 4, 2024 – Port Royal Speedway and the Short Track Super Series have made the decision to cancel the much-anticipated three-day race event scheduled for October 2024: The Speed Showcase 50. After careful consideration, both parties have made this difficult decision due to challenges faced throughout the 2024 season, coupled with the need to focus on projects at Port Royal Speedway before the winter season sets in.

This will mean that the final race of the 2024 season will be the Tuscarora 50 with Kubota High Limit Racing on September 7th as the speedway prepares for the 2025 season.

Port Royal Speedway is committed to maintaining and enhancing the quality of its venue. The team is focused on continuing to bring highly anticipated and high quality events to the track and look forward to doing so in the coming season.

Both Port Royal Speedway and the Short Track Super Series extend their gratitude to the fans, teams, and sponsors for their understanding and continued support. Plans are already underway to make the March 2025 event a memorable one, and further details will be announced in the coming months.
