Port Royal Speedway Presents Thrilling Double Header Weekend: Keith Kauffman Classic and Battle in the Borough
Port Royal, PA - April 23, 2024 - Get ready for an adrenaline-fueled weekend at Port Royal Speedway as we gear up for an electrifying double header event on Saturday and Sunday, featuring top tier competition in sprint car and some of the biggest names in super late model racing!
The action-packed weekend kicks off on Saturday, April 27th, with a not-to-be-missed autograph session featuring racing legends: Lynn Paxton and Keith Kauffman, and current PA racing stars: Anthony Macri, and Dylan Cisney. Fans will have the exclusive opportunity to meet these iconic drivers, get autographs, and snap photos, creating unforgettable memories with their racing heroes and also snag a copy of Paxton's book titled "My Way".
But the excitement doesn't stop there! Saturday's main event promises to be a spectacle, with Weikert Livestock sprint car drivers vying for victory in a race that boasts an impressive $43,000 total A-main purse. Thanks to the support of sponsor Valley Supply, the winner of the sprint car race will walk away with a hefty $15,000 cash prize, making it one of the top paying sprint car races of the season at The Speed Palace. Saturday will also include the USAC East Coast wingless sprint cars as well as the wingless sportsman division.
As if that wasn't enough, Sunday's lineup is equally thrilling, featuring the Selinsgrove Ford super late model division matching up against the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. The stakes are high as drivers like Ricky Thornton Jr. and Jonathan Davenport from the national touring series will take to the track in pursuit of victory at The Speed Palace. With a $10,000 cash prize awaiting the winner, the competition is sure to be fierce, as these top drivers battle it out. They will be joined by the Zimmerman Truck Repair limited late models who will battle for $2,000 to win.
