Huset’s Speedway Welcomes Inaugural Visit for Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Tuesday Before Nordstrom’s Automotive Night Next Sunday

Inside Line Promotions – BRANDON, S.D. (July 18, 2022) – Huset’s Speedway hosts a pair of marquee events this week.

The action begins on Tuesday with the first-ever visit by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, which will compete in a $10,000-to-win, 40-lap main event. The Tri-State Late Models is also part of the action.

Tim McCreadie enters the night with a 100-point lead over Brandon Sheppard in the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series championship standings. Ricky Thornton Jr., Tyler Erb and Hudson O’Neal round out the top five, respectively.

O’Neal has claimed two of the last three A Mains for the series while Sheppard leads the way with a half dozen triumphs.

Five days later the dirt oval showcases Nordstrom’s Automotive Night. The Casey’s 410 Sprint Cars presented by Big Frig, the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series and the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks pack the racing program.

Nordstrom’s Automotive has added to the purse in the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks division as the feature winner will receive a $500 bonus and the runner up a $250 bonus.

Two of the regular Huset’s Speedway divisions have a new points leader this week with Matt Juhl on top of the Casey’s 410 Sprint Cars presented by Big Frig standings and Zach Olivier leading the Nordstrom’s Automotive Late Model Street Stocks class. Jacob Hughes is now the sole driver in front of the Wyffels Hybrids RaceSaver Sprint Car Series standings.

Tickets to Tuesday’s event are $40 for adults and $20 for students 13-years-old to 18-years-old. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.

Adult tickets for Sunday’s program are $20 at the gate or $17 if purchased in advance. Tickets for students 13-years-old to 18-years-old are $10 at the gate or $8 in advance. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free.

The gates open at 4:30 p.m. with racing at 8 p.m. on both Tuesday and Sunday.
