This is the next event on the LoneStar Speedway schedule and one of the biggest nights of the season. Double track points being awarded for all divisions.
Trisha and Robert Taylor have stepped up to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, and to help increase the competitor purse in the LSS points divisions for this special night of racing.
LoneStar Speedway has matched those increases, creating a doubling effect.
On April 26, 2010 Trisha and Robert Taylor received the call that forever changed their lives, as their daughter Alex had been in an accident and was being taken by air flight to East Texas Medical Center and would not survive her injuries. The accident was attributed to texting and driving.
Robert is veteran LoneStar Speedway driver, along with his wife Trisha, continue to help raise awareness of the dangers of texting and driving, at their Facebook page titled For the Love of Alex Stop Texting and Driving.
Click www.facebook.com/ForTheLoveOfAlexStopTextingAndDriving to ‘like’ the page and learn more about their awareness efforts.
We would like to thank the following sponsors for their part in helping to make this into such a big and important event: Sponsored in part by: SETEC Midstream, Crawdaddy's Whitehouse, TX, Uncle Sam's Fireworks, Jalapeno Tree, Patrick Daniels/1st Class Auto Glass, Dunn Transmissions, Enerflex, DAY Motorsports, Advantage Roofing, Whataburger/Simpson Racing, Taylor Drywall, Joe & Laura Stone Racing and Jim Hitz/All Points Systems.
If you, or your business, are interested in being a part of this special awareness event, send an email to Racemanrt90@gmail.com and Trisha Taylor will get back in touch with you with more information.
Each division winner will also receive and oversized check from the Taylor's, and a commemorative plaque from LSS.
Again, this will be a double point’s race for all LoneStar divisions. There are no added competitor entry fees in any division on May 12th. Transponders are required for the Modifieds, Factory Stocks and Limited Modifieds. Transponder rental is $15.
