RACE OF CHAMPIONS LATE MODELS RETURN TO THE TRACK @ HILLSIDE BUFFALO FOR THE “RETURN OF THE BUD 100”
The Race of Champions Late Model Series returns to action this Friday night at the Track @ Hillside Buffalo for 100-lap feature that signifies the return of a true tradition to the high-banked historic oval.
The “Return of the Bud 100” will take center-stage Friday, September 7. Dave Heitzhaus of Strykersville, N.Y., has been a participant and winner of the 100-lap event in the past and is looking forward to competing once again this Friday.
“It should be a good race as we continue to try and rebuild the Late Model division in Western New York,” stated the veteran racer, Heitzhaus. “We’ve been running a limited schedule, but this race has been circled on our calendar all along. It’s been a Late Model tradition for years and we are really looking forward to it and I’m hoping we can turn in a good performance.”
