Greenbush Race Park

Some familiar names take the checkers at Greenbush Race Park

It was a perfect night for racing at the Greenbush Race Park, as both the grandstands and the pits were full ready for a night of racing.

The NLRA Late Models were in town and 17 cars lined up for the green flag. Ryan Corbett lead the first lap before he was passed by Joey Pederson to start lap two. Pederson lead the next dozen laps before Shane Edgington, with the help of a lapped car, made the pass with five to go. Edgington went on to get the win with Pederson getting second and Corbett third. Heat wins went to Ryan Kereluk, Jesse Teunis and Pederson.

The Wissota Modifieds would run their feature caution free with Tim Thomas, Shane Wahl and Tyler Peterson. Peterson started eighth and was out in front by lap six and was never challanged to pick up his third win of the year and a sweep of the night. Shawn Teunis would finish second and Aaron Holtan third. Rick Delaine picked up the other heat win.

The Wissota Midwest Modified feature was filled with cautions, but Aaron Blacklance was able to lead every lap for his third win of the year and a sweep of the evening. Gary Nelson finished second and Justin Olson third. Patrick Sobolik and Darrin Lawler got the other heat wins.

It's been awhile since Jerome Berger visited victory lane, but he was able to hold off Weston Ramsrud to get the win in the Wissota Street feature. Ramsrud would finish second and get a heat win and Tucker Pederson finished third. Zach Johnson would get the other heat win.

The MinnKota PowerI Lightning Sprint feature would also run caution free with Alex Truscinski leading the first 12 laps before Dexter Dvergsten would take over the top spot and lead the remaining eight laps for his first win of the year. Truscinski would finish second and Kelsi Pederson third. Heat wins to Kyle Cole, Travis Surerus and Dylan Langevin.

Up next for the Race Park will be the Race of Champions qualifier for the Modifieds, Streets, Midwest Modifieds and Pure Stocks. Also racing the night will be the MinnKota PowerI Lightning Sprints. Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstands at 5:30, cutoff for the draw is at 6pm with racing getting underway at 7pm sharp.
