Greenbush Race Park
Rain ends the night early at Greenbush Race Park
UPDATE Pure Stocks WILL NOT be at GRP on July 2nd!!
The Greenbush Race Park was ready to host the Rebel Midwest Mod Tour along with the Steffes Street Stock tour, but Mother Nature being who she is, won out in the end.
The Park had a good turnout of cars with 31 on hand for the Rebel tour and 21 for the Street tour, with a total of 85 signed in for the night. All of the heats had been completed and the Midwest Mod B main managed to get five of the 10 laps in before a light shower hit the track. The track was worked up and ready to be rolled in when the decision was made to cancel the rest of the evenings races.
Unfortunately the tour features will not be rescheduled while the Modified, Lightning Sprint, and Pure Stock features will be rescheduled at a later date.
Up next, the Park will host the NLRA Late Models. Joining the Late Models will be the Modifieds, Streets, Midwest Modifieds, MinnKota PowerI Lightning Sprints and 4 Cylinders. Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstands at 5:30, cutoff for the draw is at 6pm with racing starting at 7pm sharp.
