Greenbush Race Park
Mother Nature wins opener at GRP
Three and a half inches of rain on the last day of June had Greenbush Race Park employees scrambling to get things in shape for the opener on July 4th. Rain was in the area on the 3rd and missed the track, but some light rain on the morning of the 4th with more rain expected for later in the day forced promoter Trapper Sovde to cancel racing for the evening.
Up next for the Race Park will be a regular night of racing for July 11th. The RV Mod Tour was cancelled. Racing that night will be the Wissota Modifieds, Wissota Streets, Wissota Midwest Modifieds, Wissota Pure Stocks, Outlaw Mini Mods and 4-Cylinders. Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstands open at 5:30, cutoff for the draw is at 6 pm and the green flag dropping at 7 pm sharp.
