Greenbush Race Park celebrates 25 years of racing

The 25th summer of racing for the WISSOTA PolyDome Dirt Track series is set to begin as the Greenbush Race Park has 15 Saturday dates along with three Sunday nights of racing scheduled for the fastest 1/4 dirt track in Northwestern Minnesota. The same six classes will be racing at the Park including the Modifieds, Streets, Midwest Modifieds along with Pure Stocks, Lighting Sprints and select dates for the 4 Cylinders. Gates open at 4pm and the cutoff for the draw is at 6pm with racing starting at 7pm sharp. The three Sunday dates for racing will start one hour earlier.

It all starts with a Test & Tune on May 20th with the race season to start one week later with two nights of racing on May 27, & 28. There will be no Lightning Sprints or 4 cylinders for these races.

June 3rd & 10th will be regular nights of racing with all six classes competing. June 17th will be the "Dugan" Nelson memorial for the Midwest Modifieds (no 4 cylinders). June 24th will be the first of three stops for the NLRA Late Models with no Lightning Sprints & 4 cylinders.

July kicks off with a bang and another doubleheader weekend with eight classes racing on the 1st highlighted by the first appearance of the NOSA sprints along with the Outlaw Mini Mods. Sunday the 2nd will feature the regular six classes along with the Outlaw Mini Mods. July 8th will be the Mid-Season Championships for all six classes, while the NLRA Late Models make their second stop on the 15th with no Streets or 4 cylinders. July 22nd is the AFCO Race of Champions date for the WISSOTA classes along with the Chad Olson Memorial for the Lightning Sprints, (no 4 cylinders). July finishes up on the 29th with a special for the Streets (no 4 cylinders).

The month of August will start with the Donny Byfuglien Memorial for the Pure Stocks on the 5th, followed by the Elliot Baker Cup Memorial for the Modifieds on the 12th. The NLRA Late Models make their last appearance of the year on the 26th. This date is also the rain date for the AFCO Race of Champions with no 4 cylinders.

We close out the year on Labor Day weekend September 2 & 3 with a regular night of racing on the 2nd and the Points Championships on the 3rd with all six classes racing.
