TECH INSPECTION UPDATE

[Wisconsin Rapids, WI]- Tech inspectors from Golden Sands Speedway requested dynamometer testing of a competitors motor from the Dick Trickle 99 starting field. The motor of #66 Kendrick Kreyer was removed after the finish of Mondays event and was secured by staff and then taken by staff to Wegner Automotive Research of Markesan on Tuesday morning at 8 am.

"The motor was taken to be dyno'ed for validity",Cody Smiley owner of Golden Sands Speedway stated," Kendrick is always a contender and we (the tech staff) wanted to ensure competitive equality." "Kendrick seems to be near the top of the field every event, we wanted to ensure to the other competitors that our staff takes the tech responsibility extremely serious. We want to thank the SuperStar motor Sports team of Kreyer for compliance with the request."

After testing Tuesday morning at Wegner's it was found the motor is within specifications and is allowed for competition in all events at Golden Sands Speedway. The motor was equipped with GM seals and GSS seals and now has seals from Wegner Automotive Research also.
