Friday Is Race Day At Georgetown Speedway To Kick Off Melvin L. Joseph Memorial Weekend
It's race day! After a long winter, we are back to racing tonight to kick off Melvin L. Joseph Memorial Weekend. Tonight, Small-Block Modifieds headline the program in a 30-lap, $4,049-to-win event plus RUSH Crate Late Models ($1,049 to win), Delmarva Chargers and Delaware Super Trucks. There will be practice for Short Track Super Series Modifieds and Crate 602 Sportsman with a redraw spot going to the fastest in each for Saturday.

Gates open at 4 p.m. in the pit area and 5 p.m. for the grandstand. Hot laps hit the track at 6:20 p.m., with racing at 7:15 p.m.

Seniors (ages 65 and up) & Students (ages 13-17): $16
Kids (9-12): $10
Children 8 and under FREE

Pit Admission: $35 (ages 13 and up), $10 Kids (6-12), $2 (Children 5 and under)

Two-Day Grandstand Passes: $40 (Adults), $30 (Seniors and Students) & $15 (Kids).
