Bryce Norris grabs second win of 2023 at Gas City I-69 Speedway

Kicking off a doubleheader weekend with the Schaeffer’s Oil Indiana RaceSaver Sprints, Bryce Norris invaded Gas City I-69 Speedway (Gas City, Ind.) on Friday afternoon with his teammate Max Guilford joining him in the Platinum Lawncare No. 37G entry.

With a runner-up finish in his heat race lining him up on the front row for the feature, Norris wrestled away the lead from Kayla Martin early and paced the remainder of the 20-lapper to secure his second win of the 2023 campaign. He took the checkers ahead of Martin and his teammate Max Guilford who claimed the hard-charger honors after starting the feature in 12th.

The following night at Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville, Ind.), Bryce topped his time trial group in qualifying before placing third in his heat. Rolling off eighth for the A-Main, Norris jumped up three positions to register a fifth-place finish. He chased Ethan Barrow, John Paynter Jr., Dustin Clark, and Dillan Baldwin to the checkers. Max lost five spots in the 20-lap affair to finish 13th.
