Demolition Derbies And Tight Point Races Saturday, August 26 At The Fulton Speedway
FULTON, NY - August 23, 2017 -Â If it has four wheels it will be raced or destroyed this Saturday, August 26 at the Fulton Speedway when Burke's Do-It-Best Home Centers of Fulton & Oswego presents a night of high speed racing followed by demolition derbies.
On-track racing will feature the 800 horsepower Tracey Road Equipment Big Block Modifieds, SUNY Canton Sportsman, Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models and E&V Energy Novice Sportsman.
After the racing, on the front straightaway it will be time for the fan favorite sights and sounds of crunching metal of the King’s Smash ‘Em Crash ‘Em “August Annihilation� Small Car and Youth Demo Derbies.
Adult grandstand admission is $15 with everyone 18 years old and younger FREE. Pit is $27 participant, $30 nonparticipant. Grandstands open at 5:00 with racing at 7:00.
With only two-point races left to decide the 2017 track champions, the pressure and heat is turned up to high with those vying for titles and top-five-point finishes to carry momentum into the 32nd Annual Sunoco Fulton Ethanol Facility Outlaw 200 Weekend presented by SUNY Canton on Friday-Saturday September 29 & 30.
In the Tracey Road Equipment Modifieds Larry Wight and Tim Sears Jr. are only separated by 2 points and Jimmy Phelps is only 17 points back in third place.
The SUNY Canton Sportsman sees Ron Davis III leading Todd Root by 12 points coming into this Saturday.
Kevan Cook leads the way in the Billy Whittaker Cars & Trux Late Models. Hot on his heels are Chad Homan 4 points back and Jason Parkhurst 6 points back.
