SUPPLY WAGON RENTALS PRESENTS THE LUCAS OIL EMPIRE SUPER SPRINTS (ESS) AT FONDA THIS SATURDAY MAY 6

Fonda, NY – This Saturday, May 6, the first visit of the 2023 racing season at the Fonda Speedway by the Empire Super Sprints (ESS) will take place with a $2,000 reward awaiting the feature winner. Supply Wagon Rentals will be the sponsor of the evenings racing program which also features all regular divisions in action including the Amsterdam Truck Center Modifieds, the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate 602 Sportsman, the Below Zero Ice Cream Pro Stocks, the Montgomery County Office for Aging Inc. Limited Sportsman, and the Fonda Fair Four Cylinders.
Gates open this Saturday at 4:00 p.m. with hot laps at 6:00 p.m. and racing at 7:00 p.m.
Online Performance Parts/Stone Motorsports will present each Montgomery County Office for Aging, Inc. Limited Sportsman heat winner with $100 each this Saturday at Fonda Speedway. Stop by the trailer at the track, like Online Performance Parts on Facebook or visit www.stonemotorsports.com.
According to their website the Lucas Oil Empire Super Sprints (ESS) is a 360-winged sprint car traveling club that races on dirt oval tracks throughout New York and Canada. The sprint cars use a 360 cubic inch (5.9L) engine that produces approximately 700 horsepower, weigh 1500 pounds, and achieve speeds in excess of 125 miles per hour, on dirt short tracks. This year in 2023, the ESS are celebrating their 40th year of competition and is a respected club on and off the track.
Local favorite Danny Varin was the winner of both of the ESS events held at Fonda last year and with those two wins he moved to the top of the ESS All-Time Win List at the “Track of Champions� with a total of six wins in a total of 25 feature events run over the years.
Justin Barger is second on the All-Time Win List at Fonda with five victories while Lance Yonge and Steve Poirier both have two wins sitting next on the list. Drivers who have single ESS event wins at Fonda include John Brutcher, Bobby Parrow, Tom Taber, Craig Lane, Doug Emery, Jessica Zemken-Friesen, Jeff Cook, Chuck Hebing, Stewart Friesen, and Davie Franek.
Supply Wagon Rentals is a family owned and operated small business, here to serve the community. Opened in 2008 by Jackie and Bob Varin, it was always a dream of theirs to have a family business. The business is now operated on a daily basis by Bobby and Danny Varin (son and grandson) of Bob and Jackie. Supply Wagon Rentals provides tent rentals along with event rentals, portable toilets, heavy equipment rentals, tool rentals, and snowplowing. ONE FINAL PUSH
Fonda Speedway is in the running for a $50,000 “Advance My Track� grant courtesy of Advance Auto Parts and NASCAR Roots. The finalists for the 50 grand are determined via online voting concluding on Friday, May 5.
All are encouraged to vote for the Track of Champions by visiting www.advancemytrack.com.
Three votes per individual are permitted daily.
Should Fonda Speedway earn the $50,000 top prize, structural improvements are planned for the speedway’s iconic covered grandstands in addition to an expanded Kids Club area.

In 2022, Pa.’s Jennerstown Speedway was the “Advance My Track� $50,000 recipient.
Grandstand admission this Saturday, May 6 is $20 (Adults), $18 (Seniors ages 65 and above) and Kids 11 and under FREE.
Pit Admission is $40 (ages 13 and up), $35 (NASCAR or Fonda Members), $10 Kids (ages 6-12) and $2 for Children 5 and under.

Saturday’s event – and all races at Fonda Speedway – will be broadcast live on FloRacing (www.floracing.tv) as part of the $150 annual subscription.
Since 1953, the “Track of Champions� Fonda Speedway has hosted the best in stock car racing. Under the management of BD Motorsports Media LLC, the speedway will operate weekly on Saturday nights from April through August plus several special events.
