Speedway Office to be Site for Early Presidential Voting
Registered Escambia Democrats and Republicans can cast an early ballot, prior to the 2016 Florida Presidential Primary on March 15th. County Elections Supervisor David Stafford announced the selection of the speedway office on Pine Forest Road as one of a handful of locations where the early ballot can be voted. Westside voters had previously used the Fairgrounds, but a scheduling conflict prevented its use in the early voting this year only.
County poll workers will be on duty at the speedway office from Saturday March 5th to Saturday March 12th to help registered voters from Escambia County cast their ballot. Â Hours are 8am to 5pm, including Saturday and Sunday. Sample ballots will have been mailed to eligible voters prior to the start of early voting.
The speedway will not be an official polling place for Primary Day, March 15th. Persons wishing to vote the traditional way will find their precinct listed on their voter registration card.
