It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year
It's that time of year. Racers and fans from across the country turn their eyes and minds towards one of the greatest events in short track racing, the world famous Snowball Derby . This year marks the 47th running of the annual event held the first weekend of December since 1968.
Ask anybody who has witnessed or been a part of the event and you will hear them say the same thing, "The atmosphere and excitement is 2nd to none". To be a part of a Snowball Derby is a win in itself. Often with months and sometimes years of preparation.
The annual celebration of racing starts with the Green Flag Party on Wednesday night and culminates with the Super Late Models on Sunday. The Green Flag Party is a fellowship of racers, race fans officials and sponsors that sets the tone for the event What follows is 4 days of the most intense prestigious racing in 7 different classes by the best of the best.
Starting Monday,  October 13th, we will start presenting you the class of entries for this years events. Below is the tentative schedule for the 47th Annual Snowball Derby. If you have not done so already you should start making your plans to attend "America's Favorite Home Track" to see the world famous Snowball Derby!
