B .O.B. SPORTSMAN SPECIAL @ 5 FLAGS

The Beef O’ Brady’s and the Bob’s Speed Shop Sportsman Divisions have been producing some fantastic racing this season at both 5 Flags Speedway and Mobile International Speedway. Although Steve Buttrick has established himself as the man to beat at both tracks with multiple wins thus far, even Buttrick himself would agree that it has been anything but easy. “ We’ve won 10 times so far this season, but we haven’t taken a single win for granted� stated the defending Snowball Derby Sportsman winner. “Between the level of competition, and the elements of the unknown, like untimely flat tires, we know the race isn’t over until it’s over.� The Sportsman Division at Mobile has sacrificed a night of racing at the Irvington Oval to make room for Double Features for Super Stocks and Bombers next Saturday Night, so 5 Flags has stepped up the ante in Pensacola by offering a $750 to win 35 lapper on Friday Night. Additonally, the Nine Mile Road Beef O’ Brady’s, owned by Tracy Goodson, will also be offering gift certificates to the top three finishers on Friday Night. Lee “Red Dog� Reynolds was victorious over Mark Barnhill and Chad Robinson in last Saturday’s Maeco Fabrication 35 at M.I.S. Buttrick finished 6th.
