Five Flags Speedway
THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!!
5 Flags Speedway has become known for many things, including fast and furious racing action, exciting young stars, the loyalist of race fans, and of course, The Snowball Derby. But there is something else. And if you are a school age child and your race vehicle has just 2 wheels and pedals, THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! One event stands above all others. It’s the Annual Kid’s Bike Races at 5 Flags Speedway, and it’s right around the corner, scheduled for June 10th in conjunction with Race #2 in the Allen Turner Series. There will be four age groups competing. Ages 3 thru 5 will drag race down the front straightaway, while ages 6 thru 9, 10 thru 12, and 13 and up will race an entire lap around the speedway. Each and every participant will receive a trophy and an ice cream. Sponsor’s once again for this year will be Tracy Goodson’s Beef O’ Bradys, Panhandle Grading and Paving, Buggy Worx Golf Carts, and Fast Eddie’s Fun Center. There is no entry fee for the bike races, but there is an entry form that can be downloaded at www.5flagsspeedway.com. You can also register the night of the event, and all else that is required is a helmet. This night is something the kids will be talking about all summer long.
