Oberkramer races to fourth-place finish in MLRA return at 300 Raceway

Friday night saw Mason Oberkramer return to action with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) at 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Fourth of July special. In a field of 24 cars, Mason timed in eighth fastest in his group before passing two cars in his heat race to pick up the win. With $5,000 on the line in the feature, Oberkramer faded two spots in the 40-lap affair to register a fourth-place finish. The following night at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa), Oberkramer posted a fourth-place finish in his heat, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Improving two spots in the 40-lapper, Mason notched an eighth-place finish.

Mason is currently fourth in the latest MLRA point standings.
