Jake O'Neil and Kyle Olson top Mods and SportMods at Truck Country 50
In addition to the High Powered Lucas Oil Late Models the Modifieds and SportMods were also in action on Friday night at the Truck Country 50.
The Modified 20 lap feature saw Tucson, AZ native Jake O'Neil capture his second consecutive Friday win at the 300 Raceway. O'Neil shot to the front from a 4th row start and took the lead from Hunter Marriott and went on to an impressive win. Marriott ran second ahead of 10th starting Joel Rust.
The 15 lap SportMod feature win went to Kyle Olson. Kyle was a benefactor of his cousin Tony Olson's miscue late in the race. Tony spun while leading as the white flag was about to be thrown. Kyle scored the win ahead of Mitch Manternach and Jerry Miles.
