Erb scores 10th-place finish in Longhorn debut at Eldora
Debuting in a brand new Longhorn Chassis TR1, Best Performance Motorsports pilot Tyler Erb invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Tuesday afternoon for the tour opener with Castrol FloRacing Night in America. With recent rain showers and a new surface making for a rough track, Erb edged his way into the $22,022-to-win A-Main with a fourth-place finish in his heat. Starting in 14th, Tyler inched forward four spots in the 30-lapper to place 10th. (Josh James Artwork)
For the second round of the 13-race miniseries on Wednesday at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Tyler missed a transfer spot by one position in his heat, relegating him into the B-Main. Following a third-place finish in his consolation event, Erb gained five spots in the 50-lap feature to finish 17th.
With the first two events in the books, Tyler is 11th in the Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.
