Dancer Kicking Off NRA Sprint Invaders Season at Limaland and Eldora

Inside Line Promotions – DELPHOS, Ohio (April 18, 2018) – Mother Nature hasn’t been kind to open-wheel racing so far this spring. Shawn Dancer is hoping that turns around this weekend as the K&L Ready Mix NRA Sprint Invaders season is set to begin on Friday at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio.

“Limaland is basically our home track,” Dancer said. “We only live a few minutes from there so we’re always excited to get back there. We’re looking to hit most of the shows in Lima this year – around 10 to 15 of them.”

Dancer has always had good results at the bullring and he’s hoping that a win is around the corner.

“Then on Saturday we’ll run at Eldora Speedway with the NRA series,” he said. “I’ve always enjoyed racing there, but we haven’t always had the best of luck so we’re hoping for some good results.”

Dancer opened the season in February with a three-race weekend in Florida. He hasn’t made any major changes since then as the team feels they’re in a good starting position.

“We struggled in Florida, but we did learn a lot through all of our mistakes,” Dancer said. “It seems that every year we change up a bunch of things, then halfway through the year we start running well. We’re hoping that this year we’ve already shook out all of the bugs.”

Ending last year on a good note has definitely helped. The team will be running the same kind of car and all the crew members are coming back.

“Overall, I think we’re going to have a good year,” Dancer said. “Let’s just hope the weather cooperates.”
