Spectators To Return To US 13 Dragway & Delaware International Speedway This Weekend For Racing Events!
After a weekend of successful practices that included several Social Distancing measures, the engines will fire in front of fans for this weekends events! As a part of the agreement for opening with the State of Delaware those social distancing measures are still in place as well as, masks must be worn by all spectators at both facilities, fans must socially distance when entering/exiting any part of the facility with other spectators, and groups of fans who are not of the same household shall be socially distanced by at least 6 feet in all spectator seating areas. This will be enforced by track officials.
We will kick off the points season on Saturday night at the Delaware International Speedway and it will be a “full house� of points classes. Delaware Dirt Modifieds, Super Late Models, RUSH Crate Late Models, AC Delco PSC Modifieds, Modified Lites, Little Lincoln’s, and Delmarva Chargers are all scheduled to compete! The previously scheduled Elliott Farms night and the RUSH Qualifier will not be held on Saturday due to the short notice, and will be rescheduled for later in the season. Gates will open at 5 pm, with hot laps beginning at 6:45. Pits are $30, Spectators $15, as always Children 13 & Under are free on the spectator side with an accompanied adult. ET Bracket Racing will return to the US 13 Dragway on Sunday, June 7th! A full slate of non-points bracket racing is on tap for Sunday with Top ET, Mod ET, Outten Brothers Home Furnishings Pro Bike, Street Eliminator, Hot Rod Trophy, and Junior Dragsters. Gates will open at 10 am, with time runs beginning at 11 am.
As we enter this new phase of normal the Cathell family will be doing all they can to help promote a safe environment for staff & all who attend. We have added additional hand sanitization stations around the facility, plastic sneeze guard protection in the concession stands, and will constantly remind everyone about practicing safe social distancing standards via the track radio and PA system. Masks are required for all spectators. If you have any symptoms of an infectious disease we STRONGLY RECOMMEND and ask you to stay home and do not attend. If you are healthy and wish to attend the races you are doing so at your own risk. The US 13 Dragway or Delaware International Speedway assumes no responsibility for the spread of any infectious disease.
