JORDN JUSTICE GETS THIRD WIN OFF FINAL TURN
Jeff Marker led the first lap of the 15-lap AC Delco 602 Sportsman feature. Jason took the point on lap two while Brian Hitz held down third. Jordn Justice began to pick his way through the field from ninth and was up to fourth by lap four. By halfway he had climbed to second behind Rush.
Rush was up for the challenge and held off Justice while last week’s winner, Westley Smith joined the equation climbing to third with five to go. Justice pulled even with Rush in the final turn and won the drag race to the line for his third win of the season. Rush ended his best performance in second with Smith third. Hitz turned in his best run finishing in the fourth spot and Dwayne Crockett rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Smith and Justice.
