TIM WHITE SURVIVES WILD RUN FOR THIRD WIN IN MOD LITES

The Mod-Lite 15-lap feature was a wild one with four cautions before three laps could be completed. Jake Nelson jumped out to the lead as James Hill came rocketing through the field before slowing with a flat and heading to the pits. Hill would miss the second lap but would return one lap down. On the restart of lap two, Nelson failed to come up to speed causing a melee behind him that saw both James Wood and Brandon Keim flipping wildly down the front straight. Neither were injured in the crash.

Jason Musser would lead the next two laps before Tim White moved on top. With six to go Hill was able to get by White to unlap himself but the race would stay green the remainder of the distance keeping Hill from moving any further. Nick Sapp got by Musser with four to go but could not catch White who posted his third win of the season. Musser held on for third with Curt Miles, Jr. fourth and Harry Mears fifth. Heats were won by Hill and Sapp.
