DIAMOND STATE 50 POSTPONED UNTIL WEDNESDAY AUGUST 5th
‘DIAMOND STATE 50’ POSTPONED TO WEDNESDAY AT DELAWARE INTERNATIONAL
Due to a forecast of 60 percent chance of rain for Tuesday afternoon/evening, Delaware International Speedway promoter Charlie Cathell and Short Track Super Series Fueled By Hi-Tek organizer Brett Deyo have collectively POSTPONED the ‘Diamond State 50’ from its original Tuesday date to Wednesday, August 5.
The Wednesday forecast shows a picture-perfect day with zero chance of rain.
“This event calls for our racers to travel significantly because of Delaware International’s southern location, Deyo said. “With such an uncertain forecast and a clear rain date, we felt this was the best-case-scenario with respect to peoples’ time and money.
The event, sponsored by Taylor & Messick and Hurlock Auto & Speed Supply, moves in its entirety to WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 5.
All times and prices remain the same.
