KENNETH PEEK LEADS WIRE TO WIRE FOR 2ND CAREER WIN IN AC DELCO MODIFIEDS
For the second time this season, Kenneth Peek took full advantage of starting on the pole in the AC Delco PSC Modified 15-lap feature. The race would go caution free and Kevin Sockriter would never get outside of striking distance in second.
At the halfway sign the top five were Peek, Sockriter, Dwayne Crockett, Carson Wright and Brandon Watkins. With two laps left to go Sockriter got along side of Peek but got out of shape in the first turn and lost more ground than he could make up. At the checkered it was Peek posting his second win by .527 seconds over Sockriter. Crocket, Wright and Watkins rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Peek and Sockriter.
