BRANDON GALLO GETS 1ST CAREER WIN IN AC DELCO MODS
A tangle in the first turn forced a restart at the beginning of the 15-lap AC Delco PSC Modified feature. The second try was the charm with pole sitter, Brandon Gallo jumping out to the early lead. Rookie Devin Dodson settled into second with Brandon Watkins running in third.
The race would be green until cautions on laps nine and ten would put the pack on Gallo’s bumper. Gallo was picture perfect for the final five laps to record his first career win in the division. “Last year was a learning experience and I guess it paid off,� said Gallo. Watkins finished a solid second. Rookie Devin Dodson continued to impress finished third with Joe Tracy fourth and Jordn Justice taking fifth on the final lap. Heats were won by Tracy and Watkins.
