JIMMY WILLS SCORES THIRD STRAIGHT IN MOD LITES
Harry Mears led the first lap of the 15-lap Mod Lite feature before Aaron VanVorst moved on top. On the next circuit VanVorst did a 360 degree spin in the fourth turn but kept going and was allowed to restart on the point because he did not come to a stop. VanVorst would not make the same mistake again and would lead up to the halfway point.
Jimmy Wills and Jason Musser put on a good battle for second before Wills secured the spot just before halfway then moved into the lead with six to go. Jake Nelson took second from VanVorst with three laps to go but could not catch Wills who posted his third straight win and his fifth overall. Nelson turned in a personal best finishing in second with James Hill third. Fourth went to Ray Gulliver and Musser rounded out the top five. Heats were won by Hill and Wills.
