WOODCHUCK COULD - AND DID WIN IN DELMARVA CHARGERS

A great field of 27 Delmarva Chargers and Super Trucks were on hand Saturday night for their 10-lap main. The feature got off to a wild start with Wayne White getting upside down on the back straight. He was not injured. Jake Spencer in his truck lined up on the pole but quickly faded at the green as second place starter, Woodchuck, jumped into the lead. Butch Hudson quickly climbed from eighth to second with Kyle Tubbs running third by lap two.

Tubbs took the second spot from Hudson at the halfway sign but Woodchuck, driving a new car that was out for the very first time, made no mistakes and took the win. Tubbs finished a solid second with Jay Sipple, who started in 18th, finishing third. Hudson held on to finish in fourth and Jeff Carey came from 14th to round out the top five. First Super Truck was John Wingrove who finished in eighth.
