TRICE HOLDS OFF MILLS TO WIN 2ND TWIN 20
Mike White started on the pole in the second 20 lapper and led the first lap before Trice, who started in third, jumped out front. As Trice opened up a lead, Mills was back on a charge getting by Bunting on lap two and taking third from Jester one lap later.
White would suffer the same fate one lap later as Mills shot into second and began the task of catching Trice. The second 20 lap main would go caution free and by the halfway point, Mills had closed on Trice. With four laps to go it was Mills the leader by a nose at the line but Trice fought his way back by to lead lap 17.
Mills kept the pressure on but Trice was up for the challenge and took the win. “He (Mills) gave me a good clean race and I appreciate it, said Trice. “He did leave me plenty of room. Trice got emotional in dedicating the win to his young son who was celebrating his birthday.
Mills ended a great night in second with Bunting taking third. White recorded a personal best finishing in fourth and Jester rounded out the top five.
