JOE WARREN WINS AGAIN IN CRATE MODELS
John Imler lead the first lap of the 15-lap Crate Model feature before Joe Warren moved on top. Lap five saw a wild restart when Nick Davis lost power near the front of the pack. Several cars were involved in the tangle that saw Mike Wilson flip. No one was injured in the incident.
Tyler Reed worked into second on the restart with Mike Wharton running in third. As Warren kept a four car length advantage over Reed, Sparky White began to make a move getting past Imler for fourth with five to go.
The final yellow was out with two laps to go when Kelly Lewis came to a stop. On the restart White was able to get by Wharton for third. Reed tried his hardest but was unable to mount a challenge on Warren who took his sixth win of the year. Reed settled for second with White third. Fourth went to Wharton and Imler rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying was set by White.
