JOE TRACY GETS 4TH WIN IN AC DELCO

In the 15-lap AC Delco Modified feature, last week’s winner, Trent Willey made and outside charge from his third starting spot to lead lap one. Joseph Tracy worked by Westley Smith to take second on the second lap.

The field tried to go five wide coming off the second turn on lap five resulting in Greg Taylor getting into the wall and bringing out the yellow. On the restart Smith got by Tracy for second but Tracy regained the spot down the back straight. John Curtis was on the move and took third.

With five to go, Willey slipped high in the fourth turn and Tracy slipped by for the lead. Once out front Tracy was able to open a four car length advantage that he carried to the checkered, his fourth of the year. Willy finished another good run in second with Curtis third. Smith held on to fourth and Scott Baker rounded out the top five. Fast time in qualifying was set by Smith.
