2023 Race Schedule

The 2023 race seasons boasts a 28-race schedule along with 3 practice events.  The season will kick off in April with the Annual Car Show followed by a practice night on April 15th.  April 22nd will see the cars take to the track for the first race night of the season.

 

The month of May is where things start to pick up with the expansion of the USMTS Southern MN Spring Challenge going to a 3-day race event with a practice night before hand.  May 24-27 will be the first of two trips to the high banks for the stars of the USMTS Series as the will race for $3,000 to win Thursday, $5,000 to win Friday and $10,000 to win on Saturday.

 

Pink Out Night returns on June 17 followed up by the first weekend of the Thunder Summer Series on June 24.  The Thunder Summer Series is a partnership with Mississippi Thunder Speedway which will pay the USRA Modifieds $2,000 to win and the USRA B-Mods $1,000 to win each night along with a point fund for the combined two weekends paying the USRA Modifieds $2,000 to win and USRA B-Mods $1,000 to win.

 

The Thunder Summer Series continues July 1st along with one of the areas largest fireworks displays following the races.  The Annual NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 returns on July 6-8 featuring the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and Lucas Oil MLRA Late Models chasing the $50,000 prize on Saturday Night!  They will once again be joined by the USRA Modifieds all three nights.  The fan favorite Tasseldega Nights returns on July 15th with FREE grandstand admission thanks to the local County Minnesota Corn Growers Association.

 

August 8th the IMCA Modifieds and Sport Mods invade Deer Creek Speedway for the Annual Harris Clash.  Veterans Night returns to the speedway on August 12th.  The Dirt Kings Late Model Tour will make its debut at Deer Creek on August 19th chasing $5,000 to win.  Champions will be crowned in all 5 weekly classes on August 26.

 

September wraps up the season starting on September 2 with the Labor Day Duel featuring the USRA Modifieds racing for $3,000 to win.  September 16 the USRA Stock Car Nationals has taken a big jump now paying $10,000 to win the Stock Cars and the USRA Hobby Stocks will be back once again chasing $1,000 to win.  The season finishes up with the Featherlite Fall Jamboree on September 20-23 featuring 3 race nights and a practice before hand for the USMTS Modifieds and USRA B-Mods.  The USMTS Modifieds will be racing for $3,000 to win on Thursday, $5,000 to win on Friday and $12,000 to win on Saturday.
