Eric Mazingo Makes Last Lap Pass to Win on a Night Full of Great Racing

Eric Mazingo came from the back to the front not once, but twice. The Street Stock Series, as always, provided some spectacular action on the track with multiple lead changes and a plethora of side by side racing. Kyle Kichler in the closing laps was on the way to victory lane when Mazingo closed to his rear bumper. Heading into turn one on the final lap the two made contact resulting in Kichler blowing a left rear tire. Mazingo went on to win the feature and Kichler held on to second.

In the Modifieds it was all Nathan Ingersoll with a challenge from Chris Rutherford. Rutherford worked his way to the bumper of Ingersoll a handful of times but couldn't complete the pass. Ingersoll went on to victory lane.

The Pure Stock division provided some great racing action. Nick White, who was sent to the rear for jumping the start twice, worked his way back through the field and to victory lane. It wasn't an easy task for him though. White had challenges from Paul Riels, Timothy Witherington, and Russel Mcanally but none were able to get back around him once the P2 got back out front. Witherington did provide a spectacular finish for the fans. Witherington dove into turn three on the final lap and made slight contact with White before he would spin down and make contact with the inside wall and almost flipping over. White went on to win the feature, Mcanally second, and Witherington got the car fired and finished the race third.
