Sooner Late Model Series
Thunderbird, Crawford County will try again this weekend
John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (March 27, 2023) - Rain washed out last weekends Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series season opener. With mother natures help we will try again this weekend.
Friday night Thunderbird Speedway will host the Sooner Series season opener with racing set for 8 p.m.
Saturday night the Sooner Late Models will travel to Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Arkansas to make-up last weeks rainout. The Titan Legends Late Models presented by Super Clean will also be racing with the Sooner Series in the 2nd annual Battle at the Border. Race time is 7:30.

Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
