After a highly successful weekend of racing last Saturday, drivers and fans are preparing for another night of action at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS). POWRi-sanctioned B-Mods, Super Stocks, and Midwest Mods will compete along with the CMS Pure Stocks this weekend as the quest for the season championships continues.

Terry Schultz has dominated the B-Mod action so far, sweeping both main events during early season action. In Super Stock action, Brother-in-Laws Aaron Poe and Marc Carter have shared victories while Logan Roark is two-for-two in Midwest Mods action. Among the Pure Stocks ranks, Bobby Russell and multiple-time champion Spencer Reiff have one victory each. Note, mention of driver name does not guarantee appearance.

On Saturday, pit gates officially open at 4:30, followed by grandstand admissions at 5. The driver’s pill draw cutoff to earn passing points is 6:15 (no passing points if the driver is late checking in). The pit meeting takes place at 6:30, followed by practice hot laps at 7:00, with racing to follow at approximately 7:30.

ADMISSION INFO: General Admission - $15, Seniors 65 and Over - $12, Student w/I.D. - $12, Active-Duty Military w/I.D. - $12, Kids Aged 6 to 12 - $6, Permanently Confined to Wheelchair – Free in Grandstands. All Pit Passes are $35 regardless of age.

In two weeks, on May 18, CMS will host one of its premiere events of the season as the track welcomes the SLMR Late Models and all four weekly classes on Cliff Harris Ford night at the races. A total of $5,000 has been added to the four weekly classes payout for the week, which should make for a competitive night of action among some of the area’s best drivers. Event sponsors include Cliff Harris Auto Group, Richter Excavating & Plumbing, Elite Auto Care, Get ‘Er Done HVAC, and Air Design Heating and Cooling.
