NSA Series Invading Castrol Raceway This Friday and Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – EDMONTON, Alberta, Canada (June 16, 2018) – The North-American Speed Association visits Castrol Raceway this weekend for a doubleheader.

The 3/8-mile oval and Ginga Ninja Dirt Promotions have hosted the 360ci winged sprint car series during a pair of doubleheaders already this season. The season opener was rained out before Marc Duperron claimed the weekend finale on May 26.

Duperron returned to Victory Lane two weeks later when he won the opening leg of a doubleheader on June 8 before defending series champion Casey Adams was victorious in the most recent race on June 9.

Adams is the only driver with a podium finish during every race. Sean MacDonell and Duperron each have a pair of podiums. Trevor Turnbull and Kyle Evans each have two top fives.

Duperron and Turnbull have set quick time during qualifying once a piece. Adams is the only driver with multiple heat race wins. He leads the way with three triumphs while Wade Fleming, Kelly Miller, MacDonell and Chevy Goodhope each have one heat race victory.

The front gates open at 5 p.m. with racing at 7 p.m. this Friday. Everything is an hour earlier on Saturday.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old on Friday and $20 for adults and $10 for children ages 6-years-old to 12-years-old on Saturday. A $5 discount for Saturday’s event can be found online. Children ages 5-years-old and younger get in free both nights.
