JOHNSON SCORES 40TH USAC ARIZONA VICTORY IN PEORIA’S “HALL OF FAME” FINALE

R.J. Johnson of Laveen, Ariz. earned his 40th career USAC feature win in Arizona Saturday night, leading the final 20 laps of the Sands Chevrolet “Hall of Fame Classic” USAC Southwest Sprint race at Canyon Speedway Park. Josh Pelkey led the ffirst 10 laps and Johnson led the rest to beat Chris Bonneau, Steve Sussex, Charles Davis Jr. and Shon Deskins.
