Zomer Zooms To ASCS Southwest Victory

PEORIA, Ariz. (March 14, 2015) For the first time against the Southwest Region of the American Sprint Car Series, South Dakota's Dusty Zomer parked the Buffalo Wild Wings No. 82 in Victory Lane at Canyon Speedway Park.

Third in his Heat Race, Zomer began his march to victory from the pole of the night's 25 lap feature event. ASCS Southwest point leader, Rick Ziehl, earned runner-up honors with 13th starting Lorne Wofford climbing to finish third. After catching a tire and spinning, Bob Ream, Jr. charged back to finish fourth with Ryan Linder completing the top-five.

Joshua Williams, Cody Cambensy, Kaylene Verville, Casey Buckman, and James Aragon completed the top-ten.

The ASCS Southwest Region competes next on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 at Tucson's USA Raceway with the Cooper on Dirt. Tickets are on sale at http://www.usaraceway.com
