Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 7, 2021) – A micro sprint spectacle is invading the Midwest this week as the Sooner 600 Week begins on Wednesday.

The Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division races five straight nights at four different tracks throughout Kansas and Oklahoma.

Each Stock Non-Wing and Winged ‘A’ Class feature pays $500 to win and $50 to start while the Restricted ‘A’ Class main events offer $300 to win and $40 to start. There will be a $500 Hard Charger Award presented by Precision Collision for the driver who gains the most combined positions in the A Main throughout the week in each class. Additionally, the Speedweek champions will receive a new set of four Hoosier Tires presented by Terry Mattox.

The action begins on Wednesday at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, Kan., before shifting to Creek County Speedway in Sapulpa, Okla., on Thursday. Red Dirt Raceway in Meeker, Okla., hosts the midpoint of the week on Friday with a trip to Port City Raceway in Tulsa, Okla., set for Saturday. Sooner 600 Week wraps up on Sunday at Creek County Speedway.

Chelby Hinton enters Sooner 600 Week with an eight-point lead over Frank Flud in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings. Flud has a 74-point advantage over Noah Key in the Winged ‘A’ Class standings. Garrett Benson is up 22 points over Justis Sokol in the Restricted ‘A’ Class standings.

Sooner 600 Week marks the season debut for the series at Caney Valley Speedway. Creek County Speedway has hosted one race this year with Garrett Hulsey (Stock Non-Wing), Flud (Winged ‘A’ Class) and Corbin Rueschenberg (Restricted ‘A’ Class) emerging victorious.

Red Dirt Raceway showcased the season-opening NOW600 Series weekend with Daison Pursley and Flud claiming the Stock Non-Wing features, Benson and Flud the Winged ‘A’ Class main events and Jaxton Wiggs and Rueschenberg the Restricted ‘A’ Class features.

Colby Sokol, Johnny Boland and Gavan Boschele (Stock Non-Wing); Jeffrey Newell, Laydon Pearson and Flud (Winged ‘A’ Class); and Benson and Kaley Mahaffey (Restricted ‘A’ Class) each have NOW600 Series wins at Port City Raceway this season.

This week the pits open at 4 p.m. with the drivers meeting at 6:30 p.m. and racing at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Friday. The pits open at 3 p.m. with the drivers meeting at 5:45 p.m. and racing at 7 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Fast Four Media will offer a live video stream for each race except the one at Port City Raceway, where the action will be live via FloRacing.
