Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Invades Caney Valley Speedway for Border-Town Throwdown

Inside Line Promotions – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (Oct. 12, 2020) – The penultimate event for the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division is this weekend at Caney Valley Speedway.

The dirt oval in Caney, Kan., hosts the three premier national divisions – Stock Non-Wing, Winged ‘A’ Class and Restricted ‘A’ Class – on Friday and Saturday for the Border-Town Throwdown.

Bradley Fezard owns a 192-point advantage in the Stock Non-Wing championship standings while Jade Avedisian leads both the Winged ‘A’ Class – by 216 points – and the Restricted ‘A’ Class – by 15 points – standings.

Hank Davis and Jace McIntosh both scored their lone NOW600 Series Stock Non-Wing victories of the season at Caney Valley Speedway. Ryder Laplante won the lone Winged ‘A’ Class race and Avedisian captured the only Restricted ‘A’ Class main event for the series at Caney Valley Speedway this season.

The pits open at 4 p.m. with the pill draw running from 5 p.m. to 6:15 p.m. on Friday. The drivers meeting is at 6:30 p.m. with hot laps slated for 7 p.m. and racing at 7:45 p.m.

Saturday’s program begins a bit earlier with the pits opening at 2:30 p.m. The pill draw is from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The drivers meeting is set for 4:45 p.m. Hot laps kick off the action at 5:15 p.m. and racing follows.

Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children. Children 12-years-old and younger get in free. Pit passes are $30.
