Rush Crate LM's Make Their Return This Friday

LAFARGEVILLE, NY - This Friday night the exciting RUSH Crate Models will make their return to the Can-Am Speedway on Superior Plus Energy night. The full fendered Late Models will tackle the fast 1/2 mile oval for their first of four visits in 2018.

Interest is high from many of the RUSH Crate Model drivers as they look forward to their return and a good car count is expected. They will be joined by Can-Am's five weekly divisions, the DIRTcar 358 Modifieds, DIRTcar Sportsman, Pro Street Stocks, Thunder Stocks and Rookie Sportsman. Opening night winners are expected back to try and make it two in a row.

Canadian Ryan Arbuthnot out dueled 2017 point champion Billy Dunn in last weeks opener. Arbuthnot looks like he will be a contender to pick up the win every night and has the early lead towards the Whitesboro Plow Shop-358 DIRTcar Modified championship.

Hopefully the FX Caprara Honda-DIRTcar Sportsman opening night winner Kevin Root will make a return to defend his 20 lap victory over a strong field of 33 cars.

Mike White got the jump on the FABCO-Pro Street Stock division with his opening night win, as did Josh Herbert in the TLC Real Estate/Agent Marsha Gibbons Thunder Stocks.

While the Rookie Sportsman division is a non-point class in 2018, Addison Bowman picked up the win last Friday and may be back to defend his first checkered flag of the season.

This coming Friday is Military Appreciation night at the speedway, all active and retired military will be admitted for just $5.00 in the grandstand with a valid military ID .
