Drive Around the Barricade
Bloomington recently announced that Walnut Street Pike, the road that runs along the west side of the Speedway, with the entrance to the top gate, will be closed at Rohrer Road, possibly as early as Thursday. Rohrer Road is north of the track and southbound traffic will be prohibited. At the Fairfax Road intersection, this closure is likely to include a barricade and signage. Be assured that the Speedway's top gate will be open via Walnut Street Pike both coming into the track and leaving. There is plenty of parking at the top gate. We will do our best to move traffic through the gate smoothly and minimize backups.
