Military Appreciation Night Scheduled August 3, MMSA MiniSprints and Bombers Added
The MARS Super Late Model Series headlines the racing on Friday, August 3, as Bloomington Speedway will also pay tribute to present, past and future military service members. Hosted by the US Army Recruiting Command office in Bloomington, the speedway is planning special events and displays during the evening. Active duty, reservists and guard members will be admitted free, and veterans at half price. In addition to the MARS Late Models, the busy program will feature a total of five divisions, including the AJ Bowlen Realtor ReMax Acclaimed Properties UMP Modifieds, Brandeis Machinery Super Stocks, MMSA Winged MiniSprints and Bombers. Additionally, both the South Central Indiana Building Trades Unions and Bobcat of Bloomington will also be in the house, with staff, family and clients enjoying a special night of racing at the track.
