NOS Indiana Sprint Week at Bloomington Speedway Friday Night
The last time USAC’s thunder and lightning AMSOIL sprint cars visited Bloomington Speedway, it was a record setting night as Dave Darland topped his 700th start with a record 60th USAC sprint car feature victory. It was a classic performance for the master as he negotiated a tricky cushion to outrun Chris Windom and young Logan Seavey. This Friday, USAC’s sprint cars return for the Sheldon Kinser Memorial, the sixth leg of the NOS Energy-sponsored 2018 Indiana Sprint Week.
The grandstand gates will open at 5:30, with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:30. General admission for this event is $25, while kids 12 and under are free with an adult. The pit gate will open at 4:30 and pit admission is $30. Bloomington’s Hornets are also on the racing program.
