Troy DeCaire Tops Off Amazing Week with Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series Victory!

Tampa Florida's Troy DeCaire continued his open wheel hot streak this week by bringing home a top ten finish with the USAC Silver Crown Series at Berlin Raceway and a well deserved, and very popular win with the Must See Racing Xtreme Sprint Series at Salem Speedway.

"This has been an amazing week for me, first with the USAC Silver Crown car and now, finally, a win with the Must See Racing Sprint Series," said DeCaire. "In the Silver Crown race, I worked my way up to seventh, but cut a tire and drifted back to tenth so that was a little tough. But every thing came right for us Saturday night at Salem Speedway."

The night got off to a great start as the team unloaded with a quick car that DeCaire could put anywhere on the track, and never looked back.

"Mike Blake and I are really gelling right now and the car was right on the money from the moment we unloaded," continued DeCaire. "I am not exaggerating when I tell you we made no changes to the car. I put the car on the pole, with a couple of tenths in hand and in the heat race I started sixth and I was first at the end of the lap"

When the feature fired off, DeCaire was determined to get to the front as quick as possible. "I've always tried to get to the front as fast as possible and I got up to second on the first lap. When the car in front of me bobbled, I made my move and checked out. To move out here this year and be leading the Must See Racing points, sweep the weekend at Salem AND finish tenth this week in the Silver Crown car, well this is just a dream week for me. I can't thank everyone enough that has supported me getting here."

Troy DeCaire will be competing on the dirt at Macon, Illinois with the POWRi Midget Series this Friday. After that it is over to Slinger Speedway with the Must See Racing Sprint Series and then on Sunday Troy will be at Winchester Speedway, competing with the USAC Sprint Car Series.

About Troy DeCaire
Racing since the age of four, Troy DeCaire has been winning races and championships since he was old enough to hold a steering wheel in his hands. After graduating to full-blown sprint cars, and competing with what is arguably the toughest pavement sprint car series in the country while still a teenager, DeCaire proved to be a quick study, picking up the series championship in 2007 and 2008. In 2009, DeCaire also added a wingless series championship to his resume. To learn more about Troy DeCaire, please visit his new website at www.troydecaire.com.
