"Auto City Speedway- 2019 Pure Stock Class- Rule Announcement"

  To everyone who has inquired and may have an interest in the 2019 Pure Stock Class, it has been said there will be no or very minimal rule change from the 2018 season to 2019 season. However, after much discussion, considerations  and talking to most all 2018 registered drivers, it has been decided that the General Motors  Vortec  engine heads will "NOT" be allowed in the 2019 race season. It is felt by most, that the class as a whole, is not yet ready for this change. Allowing these heads to be used will require the use of an intake manifold that is now illegal for this class. Additional rules may also be needed to prevent the implications of a G.M. Bow-Tie performance set up. This issue will be further researched and discussed with drivers and owners in order to determine if and when this class may be ready for this rule change.  My  personal apology to any  inconvenience this may have caused.
