Bryan Hulbert – KENNEDALE, Texas (August 16, 2023) Time for the wings to take on Kennedale Speedway Park, the MYCO Plastics ASCS Elite Outlaw Sprints will head for the quarter-mile-oval on Saturday, August 19.

Featuring the Elite Non-Wing Series on March 11, the night’s victory was a last-lap pass for Jason Howell. The first time the Elite Outlaw Sprints will be at Kennedale, several of the wingless drivers are expected to toss the top on and go at it again.

Leading both elite series this season, Cody Gardner has breathing room in Non-Wing, but not so much with the wing on. Only 16 points to the good, Gardner will try to hold off Austin Mundie as the difference in performances this season is one top five to one top ten between them. Brett Becker holds third, only 76 points behind, with Blake Mallory and Blaine Baxter in fifth.

Saturday, at Kennedale Speedway Park opens at 6:00 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). Additional classes on the card include Stock Cars, Sport Mods, Eco-Mods, and Factory Stocks.

Admission is $18 (ages 12 years and older), $12 for Senior and Military (With ID), $7 for Youth 6-11, and free for kids five and under. Pits are $35. Kennedale Speedway Park is located at 6727 Hudson Village Creek in Kennedale, Texas. Information on the track can be found at www.kennedalespeedwaypark.com or by calling (817) 478-7223.
