PPL Elite to Headline at Scheid Diesel Extravaganza this Weekend
Charlestown, IN (August 23rd, 2022) – Diesel purists from far and wide make their way to their annual gathering this weekend at Wagler Motorsports Park in Lyons, Indiana for the Scheid Diesel Extravaganza. SDX is many things; A dyno contest, show-and-shine, drag racing, and a stellar group of diesel-oriented vendors help make the event a must-see every year.
Anchoring the event on August 26th and 27th are four sessions of truck and tractor pulling featuring the stars of the Lucas Oil Pro Pulling League.
The pulling action kicks off on Friday the 26th with qualifying action for two classes in Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region competition. Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks and Pro Street Diesel Trucks hit the track at Wagler Motorsports Park at 11am EDT.
Session two on Friday includes the top qualifying trucks from that first session, joined by ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks, Pro Stock Tractors, and Super Farm Tractors from the Champions Tour. Pro Stock Diesel Trucks also compete for Silver Series points. Action in session two is slated to begin at 6pm EDT.
Saturday morning’s session three is another qualifying round for the Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks and Pro Street Diesel Trucks, again at 11am EDT. Pulling action concludes at 6pm EDT with session four, featuring ARP Super Stock Diesel Trucks and Pro Stock Tractors from the Champions Tour; 95 Limited Pro Stock Tractors and Pro Stock Diesel Trucks in Silver Series action; and Hot Farm Tractors, Limited Pro Stock Diesel Trucks, and Pro Street Diesel Trucks pulling for Ag Protect 1 Midwest Region honors.
